Eid Mubarak!

June 26, 2017

With an increasingly large diaspora, Eid ul-Fitr is becoming a more globally celebrated festival.  Eid marks the end of the month of Ramadan, which is a month-long reflective period, during which Muslims fast during the day (no food, no drink) to reflect on themselves and their spirit.  It also marks the month that God revealed the Koran to the Prophet Mohammed.  Eid is a community holiday focused on feasting and spending time with family and friends, as opposed to marking a historic moment.

Wherever you are, Nextpat wishes you Eid Mubarak - a happy, prosperous New Year with good family and friends.
